Op 28 mei 1913 werd in de Hervormde Kerk te Nijverdal een nieuw orgel in gebruik genomen, gebouwd door Jan Proper uit Kampen. Het orgel is in 1961 door de firma Pels gesloopt in verband met de bouw van een nieuw kerkgebouw.
