  • An organ was purchased in 1997 for the Gereformeerde Kerk (Vrijgemaakt) in Sint Jansklooster via the Feenstra company, which originated from the Church of Saint Petrock in Exeter, England. It was built in 1829 by William Thomas. It had only one manual. The organ was subsequently overhauled by W.H. Hawker in 1866 and Henry Speechley in 1875. James Philpott completely converted the organ in 1881 and expanded it into a two-manual organ with an independent pedal. Thomas' material was used for the Great Organ. When it was installed in Sint Jansklooster, a new organ case was made, with a front inspired by the organ case of G.P. England that had previously been placed in De Krim. A number of registers have been added by Feenstra, from the organ builder's stock, dating from around 1830. Philpott's pipework was no longer used.
  • The organ was officially put into use on March 5, 1998, and was presented by Luuk Sikkema. A concert followed on March 6, 1998 by the three organists of the church, A. van de Wetering, T. Voorberg and J.P. van Eerde.
