- The organ in the Reformed Church in Burgh was built in 1794 for the Dutch Reformed Church of Ee (Drenthe). It was a gift to this church from Eelke Reinders. The organ was put into use on August 13, 1794, with performances by Gosling Janze from Dokkum and Mr. Van der Meulen from Leeuwarden. After the Dekker company from Goes installed a new organ in Ee in 1922, the historical instrument was sold to the Veenkerk in Klazienaveen-Noord. It was installed here by Harmannus Thijs from Harendermolen. It was damaged by shrapnel during the war. The Spiering company took pipework to the workshop to repair it, but because the repair took too long, it was decided to have a new organ made. The Van Vulpen company constructed this new instrument.
- Van Gruisen's organ was sold in 1951 to the Reformed Community of Burgh, where it was also rebuilt and restored by Van Vulpen. The organ is still completely in its original state. The church building in Burgh was built in 1674. A fire broke out in the church on September 24, 1924, causing the entire inventory, including the organ, to be lost. By purchasing Van Gruisen's organ, they once again had a suitable historical instrument.
- Due to various circumstances, the organ fell into poor condition, after which it could no longer be played by Christmas 1975. After a financial campaign, a restoration by the Verschueren company could start in January 1977, which was completed in the summer.
