Bâti par: Fonteijn & Gaal (1953)

  • On December 4, 1953, a new Gereformeerde Kerk was taken into use in Treebeek, with the name Kruiskerk (Church of the Cross). The organ of the church was also new and was built by the Fonteijn & Gaal. The church building and the organ prospect were designed by the architect B. W. Plooy. Johan van Dommele played the organ during the inauguration service. It was built under the supervision of the GOV (Reformed Organ Association).
  • On January 17, 1999, a new church was dedicated to be used by the merged congregations of the Gereformeerde Kerk and the Nederlands Hervormde Gemeente in Treebeek. The Kruiskerk was sold to the Gereformeerde Kerk (Vrijgemaakt), who moved into the building on February 14, 1999. Their former church building in closeby Brunssum was closed. The Kruiskerk was given a new name, Opstandingskerk (Church of the Resurrection).
